1. Introduction

ThaiVocab ("the App") is a Thai-language vocabulary learning app, developed by TMD ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No names, email addresses, or contact information
• No location data
• No device identifiers or advertising IDs
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or similar technologies
• No microphone, camera, or photo access
• No crash reports sent to us

3. Data That Stays On Your Device

The App stores the following information locally:

• Your chosen translation language
• Your quiz streak per word (how many correct answers in a row)
• The number of quiz rounds you have completed
• Your deck filter (which tiers and categories you want to practice)
• Your purchase entitlement (whether you own the full unlock)

This data never leaves your device except to be synchronized to your own private iCloud, as described below.

4. iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is enabled, the App synchronizes your preferences and progress across your own Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit:

• The data is stored in your own private iCloud container, managed by Apple
• We have no access to any iCloud data
• iCloud sync can be disabled at any time from the App's Settings screen
• The dictionary itself (Thai words, audio clips) ships with the App and is never synchronized — only your per-user progress is

5. In-App Purchases

ThaiVocab offers a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("Unlock everything") that unlocks every tier beyond Beginner. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store:

• We do not see or store any payment information
• Apple manages transaction receipts; we only read whether the purchase is active via Apple's StoreKit 2 API
• The purchase is Family Sharing eligible, as configured in App Store Connect
• A Restore Purchases button in Settings lets you re-verify your purchase on any device

6. Audio Narration

Every word is accompanied by a pre-recorded audio clip that ships inside the app bundle. Playing these clips happens entirely on your device; the App does not stream audio from any server and never uploads any audio.

7. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party services used are Apple's own:

• Apple StoreKit — for processing the in-app purchase
• Apple CloudKit / iCloud — for optional synchronization of your own preferences and progress

8. Children's Privacy

The App contains no advertising, no external links, no social features, no chat, and no data collection. It is safe for users of any age who are studying Thai. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Data Retention

Since we do not collect any data, there is nothing for us to retain. Local data (preferences, streaks, quiz counter) stays on your device — and optionally in your own iCloud — until you delete it from within the App or remove the App entirely.

10. Your Rights

Because we do not collect any personal data, most data-subject rights (access, portability, erasure) are fully within your control: uninstalling the App and signing out of iCloud removes every trace of your use of the App. You can also reset your streaks and quiz counter at any time from Settings.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
