Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Revealix · The Lost Lexicon ("the App", "Revealix") is a casual word-puzzle game for iOS, developed by TMD ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how, and why.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We never collect any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
• Your location (GPS, IP-based, or otherwise)
• Your IDFA (Apple's advertising identifier — disabled at the SDK level)
• Your contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, or camera
• Your browsing history across other apps or websites
• Any biometric, health, or financial information

Revealix does not show the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because it does not track you.

3. Data the App handles locally on your device

The following is stored only on your device, in standard iOS sandboxed storage (`UserDefaults`). It never leaves your device:

• Game progress — current level, levels solved, stars earned, score history
• Streak data — current and best no-hint streaks, daily challenge history
• Wallet — Ink (soft currency) and Gems (premium currency) balances, owned boosters, energy state
• Wisdom manuscript progress — which of the 50 wisdom verses you have unlocked
• Preferences — chosen theme, language, haptic / sound settings

Uninstalling the App removes all of this data. There is no server-side backup; this data does not sync to iCloud.

4. Anonymous analytics we do collect

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how players use Revealix and to detect bugs. This collection is strictly limited to product-interaction events — no personal identifiers — and is not linked to advertising or used for tracking.

4.1 Events sent to Firebase Analytics

score_earned	Score earned at level end (level, score, new best?)

Each session also sets user properties (current level, best streak, total solved, language, theme, sound set, lifetime hints used) — these describe the device's gameplay state, never the human.

4.2 Crashlytics

If the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends an anonymous crash report (stack trace, iOS version, device model — never your name or any identifier we could trace back to you). This helps us fix bugs.

4.3 What is NOT sent to Firebase

• No IDFA, no IDFV-as-identity (only as a per-device anonymous handle, the standard Firebase setup)
• No screen recordings, no keystrokes
• No advertising data
• No geographic location beyond the country-level region Apple infers from your App Store account (used by Firebase to localize dashboards)

5. In-App Purchases

Revealix offers four optional in-app purchases (consumable gem bundles + a Starter Pack):

• All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store using StoreKit 2
• We never receive or store your payment information — Apple never shares it with us
• Apple may share with us, in aggregate form, an anonymous transaction identifier so we can verify purchases
• The App contains no advertising and no subscription

6. Game Center (optional)

Revealix integrates Apple Game Center for global leaderboards (best streak, total stars) and is currently disabled at the code level until the App Store Connect listing is approved. When enabled:

• Game Center authentication is handled entirely by Apple
• Your Game Center alias (a nickname you chose, not your real name) and score are sent to Apple's leaderboards
• We receive only an opaque player identifier from Apple — never your real name or Apple ID email

7. Third-party services

The only third-party services integrated into Revealix are:

• Apple StoreKit / Game Center (managed by Apple) — for in-app purchases and optional leaderboards
• Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics — for anonymous gameplay metrics and crash reporting (see Section 4)

No advertising SDK, no AppsFlyer / Adjust / Branch / Amplitude / Mixpanel, no social-network SDK.

8. Children's privacy

Revealix is rated 4+ and is suitable for children, but it is not specifically targeted at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children. The App contains no advertising, no social features, no chat, no external links accessible to players, and no input fields. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Because Revealix does not collect data linked to your identity, there is normally nothing personal to access, correct, or delete. If you are a resident of the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA) and wish to exercise your rights, you may:

• Access / delete the local data: uninstall the App or use "Reset progress" in Settings
• Stop analytics collection: uninstall the App. There is no server-side personal data to delete because we never collect any
• Contact us at the email below for any other request

10. Data retention

Local data lives on your device until you uninstall the App or reset progress. Anonymous Firebase Analytics events are retained on Google's servers per Google's standard retention policy (currently 14 months for event-level data) and used only for aggregate product analytics.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
