🔒 Privacy by Design

Pitiwee is a children's bedtime story app designed with privacy as its foundation. We believe children's data should never leave their family's device. We have zero interest in collecting any information about your child or your family.

🚫 No Data Collection

Pitiwee does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers or any third party. Specifically:

• We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information
• We do not collect data about children
• We do not collect device identifiers or usage statistics
• We do not collect your location
• We do not collect or transmit voice recordings
• We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools

🎙 Voice Recordings (On-Device Only)

Pitiwee allows parents to record their own voice to narrate the story. These recordings are:

• Stored exclusively on your device — never uploaded anywhere
• Never transmitted to our servers or any third party
• Fully deleted when you remove the app
• Under your complete control at all times

The microphone permission is only requested when you choose to record your voice. The app cannot access the microphone without your explicit permission.

📵 No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We have no way to know how you use the app, how many times you open it, or which episodes you read. Your reading habits are entirely private.

💳 In-App Purchases

Pitiwee offers a one-time premium purchase processed securely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. All transaction handling is managed entirely by Apple.

📱 On-Device Storage

All app content — illustrations, narrations, music, and any voice recordings — is stored exclusively on your device. We operate no servers or cloud infrastructure that stores user data of any kind.

🧒 Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Pitiwee is designed for children aged 2–5 and their families. We take children's privacy extremely seriously. Since we collect absolutely no personal data from any user, the app fully complies with:

• COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, USA)
• GDPR and GDPR-K (European Union)
• PIPEDA (Canada)
• Apple's App Store guidelines for children's apps

🌍 International Users

Pitiwee is available in 9 languages and designed for families worldwide. Since no personal data is collected or processed, there is no cross-border data transfer. The app respects all local privacy regulations globally.

📝 Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Given that we collect no data, we do not anticipate any significant changes.
