Overview

Peluna keeps your pet's life — their milestones, photos and everyday moments — as a journal you can write together with your household, and share with the people you invite.

Peluna has no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking of any kind. We (the developer) operate no server of our own. Everything Peluna stores lives on your device or in your own iCloud account — never on a server we run.

Information We Collect

None, by us. We do not collect, receive, sell or share your personal information. There is no account to create with us — Peluna uses the iCloud account already on your device, only if and when you choose to share a pet's journal.

What Peluna stores, and where:

• Your pet's profile (name, species, breed, birth date, photo) and their journal (care entries, weights, notes, photos) are stored on your device.
• If you invite your household or friends to a pet's journal, that same information syncs through your own iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit), so the people you invited can see and, for household members, add to it. This never passes through a server of ours — it stays inside Apple's iCloud, under Apple's own Privacy Policy.
• Sharing is always by direct, named invitation. There is no public directory, no discovery feature, and no way for a stranger to find or join a pet's journal.

Reading a Vet Booklet Is Done On Your Device

Peluna can read dates, vaccines and weights from a photo of your pet's paper booklet, using Apple's on-device text recognition (Vision framework). That photo is analysed on your iPhone and never uploaded anywhere. You review and confirm every entry before it is added to the journal.

Care Reminders

If you turn on reminders, Peluna schedules local notifications on your device. No data about your pet or your household leaves your device to make this work.

Purchases

Peluna offers an optional subscription (monthly, yearly, or family) that unlocks sharing and interpretation features. It is processed directly by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see, receive or store your payment details, card number or Apple ID — Apple handles the transaction, the receipt and any restore, under Apple's own Privacy Policy. Anyone you invite to a journal can always read and, if invited as household, write to it for free — only the person who started the journal ever needs to subscribe.

Data Storage & Deletion

Your pets' journals are stored on your device and, if shared, in your own iCloud account. You are in control:

• Removing a pet's journal removes it and everything in it from your device.
• Revoking someone's access to a shared journal removes their access immediately.
• Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Anything already synced to your iCloud account is governed by your own iCloud settings.

Reporting & Blocking

Because a journal can be shared with people you invite, Peluna includes a way to report a person or piece of content shared with you, and to block anyone from a journal — which immediately removes their access. We read every report sent through the form below.

Third Parties

None. Peluna contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics services and no third-party tracking libraries. The only party involved beyond you and the people you invite is Apple — for iCloud sharing, on-device text recognition, local notifications, and the in-app subscription (StoreKit).

Children's Privacy

Peluna does not collect personal information itself, contains no advertising and no third-party content, and does not knowingly gather data from children under 13 on our own servers — because we operate none. Any sharing a family sets up between its own members is governed by that family's own use of iCloud.
