Privacy Policy
IceBrek has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking across apps or websites. We (the developer) operate no server. Your settings, favorites and custom cards stay on your device. The only thing the app can send to us is a set of anonymous usage statistics — and only if you say yes when asked (see below). It is off until you do.
Your preferences (language, categories, sound), the cards you draw, your favorites and the text of your custom cards are stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud, your favorites can sync between your own devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage, in your own iCloud account: we have no access to it.
The first time you open IceBrek, the app asks whether you agree to share anonymous usage statistics. This helps us understand which cards, categories and screens are used, so we can improve the game.
Off by default. Nothing is sent until you tap Accept. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Anonymous statistics; switching it off stops all sending immediately.
What is sent, if you accept: technical events such as “card drawn” (with its category), “onboarding step”, “purchase screen opened” (and from where), “purchase started / completed / cancelled”, together with device model, iOS version, app language, and country derived from your IP address by the provider. Purchases are reported with their price and currency for revenue statistics.
What is never sent: your name, your contacts, the text of your custom cards, or anything that identifies you. No advertising identifier (IDFA) is used and the app never asks for tracking permission, because it does not track you. In Apple’s terms, “tracking” means linking data from this app with data collected from other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising or advertising measurement, or sharing data with data brokers: IceBrek does neither, and the app ships without the advertising-identifier components of the analytics SDK.
How long it is kept: event-level statistics are retained by Google Firebase for the retention window configured on our Analytics property, which is at most 14 months; only aggregated, non-identifying reports are kept beyond it. Because nothing sent identifies you or your device to us, we cannot single out “your” statistics to retrieve or erase them individually — switching the setting off stops all sending immediately, and deleting the app removes the app’s local data.
Provider: these statistics are processed by Google Firebase Analytics, on Google's servers, under Google's privacy terms. They are used only for aggregated statistics about IceBrek and are not shared with advertisers.
IceBrek contains no advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking libraries. The external parties involved are Apple — for in-app purchases (StoreKit) and iCloud sync of your favorites — and Google Firebase, only if you opted in to anonymous usage statistics.
IceBrek offers a one-time premium purchase and optional card packs, processed securely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All transaction handling is managed by Apple.
IceBrek does not collect personal information, contains no advertising, and does not knowingly gather any data from children under 13. Anonymous usage statistics are optional and contain nothing that identifies a person.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any material change will be reflected on this page with a new date. Previous version: until October 2026, IceBrek sent no statistics at all; optional anonymous statistics were introduced with version 1.18.
