Camille Astronaut ("the App") is an interactive bedtime storybook for children, developed by TMD ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full adventure (episodes 2-20). All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.
This App is designed for children aged 3 and older. We comply with:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App contains no advertising, no social features, and no external links accessible to children. The App never asks a child for any information. The only data that can ever leave the device is the optional, anonymous usage statistics described in section 7 — which are off by default, require a deliberate choice by an adult, carry no advertising identifier, and are never used to build a profile, to target advertising, or to identify anyone.
The first time the App opens, it asks whether you agree to share anonymous usage statistics. You can decline, and the App works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Anonymous statistics.
Nothing is sent unless you say yes. Until then — and again immediately if you turn it off — the App transmits nothing at all.
If you agree, the App records simple, anonymous facts about how the stories are used, so we can make them better. For example: that an episode was opened, whether it was read to the end or left before the last page, that the purchase screen was shown, or that the voice-recording feature was used. These are counts of actions, not content.
What is never collected: your name, your child's name, your email, your address, your contacts, your location, your photos, and your voice recordings — the stories you record in your own voice stay on your device and in your private iCloud, and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
No advertising identifier. The App is built with the variant of Google Analytics for Firebase that excludes the advertising identifier (IDFA) entirely. The App displays no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.
These statistics are processed by Google Analytics for Firebase on our behalf, and are retained only for a limited period before being deleted automatically. Google's handling of this data is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

We collect no personal data, so there is no personal data to retain. Local data (preferences, voice recordings) remains on the user's device and/or their private iCloud account until the user deletes it or removes the App. The optional anonymous statistics of section 7, if you enabled them, are kept only for a limited period and are then deleted automatically.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
